PillDrill smart medication and pill reminder system that is simple, and easy to use. Not only does it connect to an app on your phone, but you can set up reminders that go to you, and any family member or doctor to help you track your medication.
The world of forgetting to take your medications is now in the past. Honestly I have no idea how I survived without this simple affordable and easy-to-use Tool in my life.
If you’re like me living with Fibromyalgia, or any Chronic Illness, then the 
chances are that you’re taking a lot of medications and supplements just to manage your daily symptoms. We all know that it can be difficult to remember to take your medicines on time, everyday, and sometimes it’s easy to get confused and wonder if you’ve taken them at all.

According to the CDC, lack of medication adherence leads to about 125,000 deaths annually in the US alone. It also accounts for up to 40% of treatment failures from any illness. So not taking your medications according to doctors instructions can have limited effects, even devastating consequences.
So let’s take a look at the PillDrill,
See? Quick and easy to use. Now I know it mostly showed seniors there, but with those of us with Fibro Fog… we know how easy it can be to forget, get distracted, or WORSE… Double up on our meds, increasing a chance of overdose. No one wants that!
So the PillDrill kit includes the PillDrill Hub, 12 Scanning Tags, 2 Weekly Pill Strips, and the Mood Cube. For $199 at the PillDrill website, or at any CVS Pharmacy. After that there are NO monthly fees.
What Does PillDrill Do? Well with the weekly pill strips and scanning tags, it tracks and records which medications you take and when. Also with the mood cube, you can track how you are feeling, to help manage your symptoms throughout the day!
Truthfully, since using the PillDrill smart medication reminders, I am now taking both my Am and PM vitamins 95% of the time, where before I missed 60% of my am, and 20% of my pm vitamins. As for my medications, I had a chart on the freezer door, so whenever I took my pain meds, I had to write it down. But what if I was away from home? Well I either did it when I got home, or… You know the fog, forgot and it never got charted.
Will the PillDrill app for I0S or Android, I can track my meds on the go. Even better is that thru the hub or the app, notifications can be sent to your Family, Friends or medical team, to help you track your feeling’s and usage.
The down side of PillDrill. Their daily strips are smaller than a large weekly pill strip. However, with the locking cap, and travel strip, I have dropped it twice, and only lost one day of vitamins. Where with a regular Pill strip I would still be looking for all my pills on the floor, for that week.
The Mood Cube. Simple and easy to use, from Great to Awful. So a good tool for those just tracking their moods. For those of us dealing with a chronic illness like Fibromyalgia, I would recommend adding two more cubes to their system. 1 Cube for mood, (wait they have that), 1 Cube for pain levels, and 1 cube for fatigue levels.
Now where I am loving the PillDrill, and recommend it 100% to anyone reading this, there is one final improvement that can be made. With the “Opiod Crisis” (Yes not a crisis, I know.) But overall pain management, dealing with lessened cognitive abilities, I would suggest adding the following. …
MAX DOSAGE ALARM: As with Brain fog, we can forget if we took our meds, or when we last took them, to be able to set an alarm for an Overdose alert, I feel would make the PillDrill Smart Medication System … Perfect.
